About Us Who we are
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, The MGHerring Group and Tricom Real Estate Group together are a private retail investment, development, property management, leasing, construction management and asset management firm focused on acquisitions, ownership, and third-party services.
Herring|Tricom has developed more than 30 regional shopping centers comprising 24 million square feet of retail space. Building upon a solid legacy as a leader in the shopping center industry, Herring|Tricom’s successes come from a strong leadership perspective. Experience from every side of the table, through multiple asset life cycles, and through multiple capital markets cycles uniquely qualifies Herring|Tricom to support mall acquisition and positioning, development, property management, leasing, construction management and asset management.
Our acquisition efforts are concentrated on turning around underperforming regional mall and open air center assets in key markets across the nation. Further, in addition to shopping center development, we manage, lease and market regional shopping centers over the long-term.
Through decades of asset repositioning, capital markets activity, hundreds of transactions and extensive industry ties, we are uniquely positioned for deal sourcing, partnerships, financing and execution, as well as project repositioning and asset management.
Herring|Tricom is committed to its projects and creating healthy real estate to benefit communities. We target major metropolitan areas and established secondary markets while monitoring market conditions and the retail landscape to take the greatest advantage of opportunities presented through timing or an asset’s position. The objective is to enhance property values and yield peak financial returns for its investors. This is achieved by uncovering opportunistic offerings and through the development of advantageous partnerships for the repositioning and disciplined management of retail assets.
